Dream Door

Updated: May 25, 2021

In the dark of night, it moves...

Many have searched for it, The key to the other side. The Enchanted Door...

It swirls and turns as a dimension widens through it. On the Mortal side it appears as just a small crack of light, perhaps even thunder and lightning sizzling through the sky but it is truly a Door for the intuitive Eye that can catch its landing.

It doesn't come when expected nor could it since many Mortals know nothing about it but the World of the strange, mysterious and wondrous is here!

The World of those of Myth and Legend.

Why does it come!?

To continue the stories of course!

Once upon a time....

Long, long ago...

There once lived...

And So On...

And so on...says the Enchanted Realm where many strange creatures and beast large and small live that might appear quite odd to the Human World. Some have existed for thousands of years in their Realm while others quite new are just beginning to tumble through barely visible as their bodies puffed with fur blow them through the forest as they bounce lightly from bush to bush and up, up toward the tallest tree branches to slumber the night away safely from all the things that slide and slither through the night on the ground and lower branches made coarse and thick just to hold their weight. If it weren't for the occasional peep from their large eyes hidden beneath their fur,you wouldn't think them a forest creature at all as they perhaps resemble the tiniest fluff of cotton swirling upon a flower with the lightest bodies that the tiniest branches could hold.

They, though rare in this forest are among the gentlest of creatures here often accompanying the Woodland Elves of the Green Briers as pets. Only when comfortable do they make sounds similar to a soft chirping or even show their tiny clawed hands and feet that they use to hold tight to the tree limbs and hide as if the tiniest weed or flower avoiding much danger or the peril of being eaten as they resemble the poisonous sort that grow on many trees though beautiful they are.

Squirrels, exotic birds, snakes and many other creatures as they appear on the Mortal side roam here but with a twist as what you think is an animal stands up and clearly speaks in any given dialect if you ask it a question! If it is food on the human side than a quivering might accompany silence rather than the gift of conversation and so many Enchanted Stories hide as Cosmic Books tumble where they can be found but the Door to retrieve them only opens when it is written...

And how is it written!?

Through belief. Belief and magic as one person's dreams and love encourages another.

The most fearsome of beasts might be the One that is most needed and searched for though hidden under fur, fangs and great height. That's not to say that danger never lurks for it does as surely as one's search and lust for power but the beams of the stars shine bright in the Enchanted Realms releasing the tiniest threads of the Gods and Goddesses as their creations colorful, whimsical and full of intellect roam free jumping off the rainbows as small glowing sparks to become the tiny fairies that we most know along with the white winged newer fairies who are just beginning to show their glimmer as they fly out to meet them.

Oh, many exist here and we shall talk about them all if the Enchanted Door finds somewhere to land, somewhere where the magic feels it is meant to continue it's story...

Until then, the furry creatures slumber as the Giants gently walk through the night forest carefully whispering so as not to disturb the Wind Songs of the Dragon Eggs about to hatch...
